Whats the best way to introduce my new puppy to two existing dogs?

I'm just about to get an Australian Shepherd puppy and I've got two Tibetan Spaniels already at home. I don't want to upset the existing dynamics at home and I want them all to get along. My doggies aren't aggressive at all but I want the puppy to feel comfortable around them and introduce her in such a way that she feels safe and happy. Are there any activities or things I can do to help this be an easy process?

put it in a cage first so that they can meet each other through it and when they get used to each other let him out

Really is the dog's choice if they want to be together, not really the owners choosing. The best thing to do would be to take them maybe a park or some place. So that there on neutral environment, so that your 2 existing dogs don't feel territorial. Keep them on a leash and let them sniff nose to nose. If that goes well take them back to the house. Keep the 2 existing dogs on a leash and let the puppy sniff around. If the 2 existing dogs are not showing any aggression you should be fine. It would be a good idea to watch them like a hawk for the first few days since something bad can happen in the blink of an eye. As I said its really the dogs choosing. you can try putting one in a cage or just bringing them all into a room and if things get really bad then take them apart.

Hey there!,
When i got my puppy, we already had a seven year old dog and his best friend had just passed away so we thought we would get him a new friend.
What i did was i held her in my hand and showed her to him everyday, Lol the first thing that happened when i let her go was she went up to his backside and bit his privates. He Screamed and pinned her down and told her off. From then on they respected each other but every time she came near him he tucked his tail over his bum. So the best way to introduce the new puppy to the dogs is slowly , until they get used to each other.
