what sex of rabbit should i introduce to my male ?

In the garden we have a male rabbit and the age of 4 months. me and my dad are thinking about introducing another rabbit since when it raining my rabbit wont be able to have a run around the garden and when es in his hutch he looks lonley.

and when my friend brought her boy bunny a boy mate they had a fight but when my other friend introduced her bunny to next doors to boy bunnys they didnt fight but one i saw one of the bunnys humping another bunny. but when my other friend bought her boy bunny a girl bunny they've gotten along soo well. that alll confuses me

so what sex should i introduce to my 4 month male bunny ???????
also if i get a girl bunny im getting the rabbit spayed/neutered

If you don't want to have bunny family with 40 members after a few months, buy MALE.

There is very little chance of introducing a male rabbit successfully. Often even two litter mate males fight, and there is no guarantee this wont happen even if they have been neutered. Two un neutered males will definitely have dominance and fighting issues.

If you neuter your male rabbit when it is old enough to be done, then you will probably quite successfully introduce a female to him to live in harmony.

Whatever you decide, you will definitely have to have this male rabbit neutered if you want a rabbit of either sex to live with him. If you introduce a male, make sure you have the facility to home it in another hutch if your rabbits do not get on and fight.
