what is the new freedom bill that was introduced into British Law a few days ago?

I read that the British government and mp's passed a new law called the freedom bill, there has been very little written in the newspapers about the freedom bill but judging from the governments approach to our civil liberties it will probably be a bill to protect the common man instead of labour approach to removing our civil liberties.
But does anyone know what the new bill actually is - just a brief summary of what the new bill is would be good - and you could mention if you think the new bill of freedom is a good thing
