What is the best age for a kitten to be introduced to pet rabbits?

My neighbors outside cat had kittens that are about 8-12 weeks old now, and one of them has been coming over here and hanging out with me outside. My boyfriend and I have 4 rabbits, and he's afraid that if we bring the kitten inside it will hurt the rabbits. I've heard of a lot of cases where cats and rabbits would be the best of friends, but I was wondering what the appropriate age is to introduce them. I'd like to do it while she's still young, but I don't know if it would be too late.

My daughter has 4 inside cats, 2 inside dogs, and a rabbit. She's never had any problems with them...but, when she introduced them she kept the rabbit in his cage for a few days, when the cats were "out & about".

I'd suggest that to you, too........Put the rabbits into a cage or carrier, and let the kitten smell them. If he doesn't seem to be too interested, let them out while WATCHING the kitten....For the first week or so, don't leave the kitten UNSUPERVISED while the rabbits are "available".

This is probably a good age for the introduction. Just be sure that someone is with them every time they're together, until you see how they react to each other.........Provide a place for the rabbits to hide, if necessary....

right away so they will grow up liking the rabbit because if its older it might have mrore of a problem...So intruduce your cat to it right away!@ hope ihelped. goooood luck!
