One is a full bred Blue Heeler, while the other is a Golden Retriever/Pit Bull mix. Attempted to introduce them once, which resulted in 3 fights in a 1hr period. The Retriever/Pit would most likely kill the other in a real, unattended fight. Not sure what to do - or if it's even possible.
What are some suggestions for trying to introduce two male, unclipped dogs?

Try a "3-second" greet. Have a friend take one dog to one end of the street and you at the other. Walk passed, have them sniff and continue walking. If either agress, take THAT dog out immediately and continue walking. Turn around and keep doing this until both dogs don't react negatively. This is just the beginning and could take 20-30 minutes of repetition.
NEUTER THEM! You will have calmer, less aggressive dogs that won't add to the homeless dog population.
