Water Based lubricants

[Rush]

Does anyone know of any water based lubricants that they like to use? I have one here, but it is so sticky I hate using it.

Or have people worked with cornstarch or other powder and how did that work?

I had a client today who couldn't have any oil based lubricants used on her, I was lucky to have a sample on hand of a gel/cream that is sticky, but it was an adequate substitute for my normal gel. I have scented, unscented, I have lotion, I have gel, I have jojoba, and one sample of sticky goo, but really nothing that was quite perfect.

Thoughts and opinions greatly appreciated

Does she know that jojoba isn't an oil but a plant wax ester? I wonder if that makes a difference.

I don't have a water-based lube.

I explained that it was a wax as opposed to an oil, but she didn't want to use it, water based or a powder.

Did you try doing MFR on her using a little water for extra "glide?"

Pure Pro has a water dispersable oil. Still oil, but its verrrry light. Does not "cling on" after massage is over. Or you can try a massage cream. FX is FABULOUS.

Maestra, that is a great suggestion, and will keep it in mind for when it comes up again. This was a regular client who until today has had no issues with what I use as a lubricant, but due to a change in diet, is being told she cannot use oil based products, so she was expecting her "regular" massage. I will start looking at other technques that don't require much if any lubricant when necessary.
