towels soaked in the roaster..too hot to ring out HELP

ok have a roaster with a rack in the bottom.
I put about 2 cups of water in and it didnt touch the rack.
took my towels, soaked them and rung them out
laid them on the rack.. when i went in to get one. they were soppy.. even too hot to ring out, i put the roaster on 150 is that too high? am i doing something wrong?
maybe not soak and ring the towels out
maybe i should half soak them and let them be moist and then put them in.. help..
dont want to burn anyone..

Even towels form a hot towel cabi usually need to be opened up and flapped around a bit to reach the right temperature, the advaneforum.xxxe with the hot towel cabi is that you don't need to wring the towels again. (actually the title of the post has me slightly confused... why do you need to wring them out?) Hot towel cabis usually run at about 175deg.

If you're not using equipment designed for the purpose, like using a roaster for heating towwels, you need to experiment with the equipment - you need to figure out what temp to have the roaster set at, you need tof igure out if the towels cool down too quickly when you have the lid off and if you need to turn the temp up a bit then. You've probably noticed the instruction manual had no intructions about towel heating! Your roaster will probably be slightly different to what anyone else is using.

There is no need to add any water to the roaster. You simply wet the towels, wring them out and place them in the roaster. When you remove them they are already wrung out, no need to wring them any more. If they are too hot, "wave" the towel briefly until it is the proper temperature.
