In Mexico, sir, the word "shave" is not used by woman, depilation is the norm in expressing the act of removing hair by them.
As a matter of fact "shaving" has been almost eradicated from the female Spanish vocablary, sustituted by the COMERCIAL influence of the need to have cero body hair.
Men shave, woman depilate....maybe not even in a couple of years the word shave will exist for men.

Let me address your points. First off I don't know one girl who leaves the room after every session to take a bath with soap.
