Tips for a Newbie who just got a nose piercing?

Hey so two questions
1. how do i clean it ?
2. I need to change it because i have a backless earring in my nose and i need to switch it into a nose L shape thing
Oh and The 2nd question is confusing some of you . im trying to say i have the backless nose stick in my nose. and i have the corkscrew one and i want to switch it So is it ok if i take it out for a minute to put another back in?

1. Clean it with sea salt and warm water twice a day for 3 months, do not twist or fiddle with it.
2. Hmm this is a difficult one, you do realise nose piercings are very tricky to change and heal up super fast, you may not get it in before it heals up, (mine healed up in 10 minutes), also, you shouldn't change it for around 3 months in my opinion, as it irritates the area and can cause infection, if you can help it try and let it heal before changing it, or go to your local piercer to get them to change it...good luck though because I changed mine fully healed and it killed can't imagine how much it will hurt to change a fresh piercing D:

I just got my nose pierced in January and it's finally healed, with no problems, thank god. My piercer told me that I should use salt water to clean my piercing, but not table salt. Mix non-iodized sea salt, which you can find at pretty much any grocery store, into distilled water and put it in a spray bottle. Several times a day you can just spray it onto your piercing, moving the stud around a little bit to make sure the sea salt mixture gets into the hole.

I still have my original piercing in, but to get yours changed I would go to your piercer to have them change it out and to buy a corkscrew nose ring (which is L shaped). When it comes to body piercings, I'll only buy from a piercer so I know the quality is really good, since body piercings, especially new ones, and very prone to infection!

1. Use sea salt water. Wet a q-tip with it and make sure you get it inside the piercing to disinfect it. It is also recommended to spray the solution on it throughout the day.
2. This is not a question. I'm not sure what you are trying to ask here. Why you would even have a backless earring in your nose confuses me, because if you got it properly pierced, the piercer would have put a proper one in for you. Instead of putting a "nose L shape thing" in it, I suggest you get one that is curved. L shaped ones fall out too easy and they aren't good for freshly pierced noses.
