[Fly In the Ointment]

...Republicans look out of touch by voting against? Already the Republican House "Intelligence" chair Rep Rogers says he'll vote no, it's a 2nd amendment right. Perhjaps he's best check the 2nd amendment again, nothing in it about clip size. When this bill is voted down will the Republicans look sadly out of touch with reality? I wonder if they will follow what they said, the will of the people?

What does magazine capacity have to do with intent?
Maybe what ought to happen is enforce the laws we already have. We pass a law, don't enforce it, then pass another one to deal with the very thing the original was supposed to enforce. Brilliant.

Lets pass a law that says, you can't kill people with a gun, car, explosives or anything.

Why must tradgedies be the spring board for more Liberal agenda advancement? If it's not a gun, it would be a home made bomb, or a car at full speed. Bad people are going to do bad things.
