Hi there folks!!
I just moved to Austin TX and I'm looking forward to start my fall crop.. however, i'm getting confused with the first frost dates here, online I found it as both Dec 1st and Nov 15th. I'm planting mainly broccoli, cauliflower, winter squash and chard, and I always follow the lunar calendar, so I have 2 choices:
plant on 1st to 3rd September (isn't it still too hot for seeds?)
plant on 20th-24th Sept (would be too late if first frost is Nov 15th..)
or do you people think I should start my seeds indoors?? I don't know if I have enough room to do that and I prefer to do it outdoors to be honest..
please help, thank you all and happy fall harvest!
