Taking wine to an AMP

This is for all the vetrans on this forum. Has anyone tried taking Wine or Chocolates, etc for the AMP girls. Does that take the YMMV to a new level? Also in one of the stickies it is mentioned that taking a Ancoovy/Pineapple Pizza iwill be a hit. Again now a days the Anchovy pIzza is a tough find. Will plain Pineapple do the trick or a can of anchovies help?

I brought Paula at 7th Heaven a fine vineforum.xxxe cabernet from the Coppola Vineyards. But I not a drinker. There are only a few amp girls who might indulge, but from what several mamasons have told me, it is discouraged. Bringing it at leaving it as a gift is ok though.

Of course bringing gifts increases YMMV. Everyone likes to receive gifts. I've taken ATF's all manner of gifts big and small over the years, wine being one of them.

As far as indulging said wine with a girl during a session, I've only done that on a handful of occasions and it was always the girl's idea.

the anchovy/pineapple thing is a myth. they like regular pizza like most. the girls at Red Rose asked me to bring them pizza a week or so ago. i took 2, one with about everything (no anchovies or pineapple), the other just veggies (one of the girls there is sort of a vegetarian). they sure seemed to like it. anybody remember the J. Geils Band song No Anchovies Please?

if you do bring food...make sure it is for all the girls. not only is that proper protocol, but you may get introduced to the other girls and kitchen mama will really appreciate it. and if you're in good with kitchen mama that a good thing. but i've been fed at amps more often that i have brought food (had a tasty meal at Red Rose yesterday).

gifts are appreciated, but being a good customer, a nice guy, and getting to know the girls a little will take you further.

i've never taken the girls anything to drink, but i was in the girls' room at Red Rose yesterday setting up their internet connection and Kelly gave me a wine cooler she said a customer had brought.

Good question, I've wondered about that. I always tip well, but have wanted to pick up some Godiva Choc. for the girl and momason, doesn't hurt to butter both sides of the toast! But I think I will try a couple pizzas next time.

Chocolate will be a YMMV thing given the cultural differences (many girls find it too sweet). I've brought fruit baskets and Asian pears before though and they are big hits.

As JPdM mentioned, whatever you bring in terms of food make sure there is enough for them to share.

One of my atf's recently asked me to bring her a yogurt shake. Had to drive around an hour to find a place to get them; for several reasons its good to bring enough for all the girls.

I remember when Jenny had her own place.....I used to bring her a case of beer every so often and she would cook for me.

TAZ... i just can't get the picture out of my mind of you knocking on the door of Jenny's apt with a case of beer in your hands! and she does make a mean omelet.

i remember back in the hot summer of whatever year it was, i was a regular at Pink. i would go see somebody on sunday and take a couple half gallons of ice cream, sometimes a sack full of the little yogurt cups, sometimes a bag of muffins. i have also taken a sack full of bagels and that delicious blueberry and strawberry cream cheese to an amp a couple times when i had an early appt. recently took a huge bag of oranges to an amp...a girl there was a little sick and asked for them. and i saw my all-time favorite asian indy once and after the session she told me she wanted a roasted chicken for dinner. next time i went to see her i stopped by Whole Foods and got a roasted chicken and took it to her. after the session (her last of the day) we sat in her kitchen and ate that whole chicken.

you can buy them expensive stuff, but what they really appreciate are things they can't go out and buy themselves. most don't have transportation while they are working at an amp, so they can't run out whenever they want and get some of their favorite snacks/drinks or whatever. but i'm sure they won't turn down the expensive stuff either.

I used to bring one particularly beautiful girl gifts all the time - wine included. In fact one time we drove to a store and I let her pick out what she wanted.

But one of the things I brought that she especially loved was a box of chocalates all filled with various kinds of liquor.

I've taken a big bag of Hershey Chocolate Kisses to a lady before. I've also taken one of those single, big chocolate kisses to a different girl.

Both ladies were appreciative. I wasn't looking for it to increase mileage, I just wanted to do something nice. Both ladies are well reviewed and give great sessions anyway.




I've seen that before but I've never tried it. Liquor and chocolate just doesn't sound like a good combination IMO. I could be wrong. I don't normally eat chocolate when I do whiskey or tequila shots, or any other. Is it any good?

I took a bottle of wine with me to 7th when Cindy and Tiffany were there and we hung out and drank the wine in the kitchen and followed it up with an awesome 3 some. I think the wine might have helped a bit.

You guys might like to know that January 23rd is the first day of Chinese New Year, and, except for Thais, who celebrate New Years in spring, it's universally observed by the Asian community with fruit (oranges or clementines, and should you care to splurge, Korean pears), rice cakes and assorted cookies, all readily available at any Chinese or Korean market. It's nice to acknowledge this important holiday (by the way, it will be the year of the Dragon) in Korean with "bok mani bah du saeyo", in Chinese with "xien nian kuai le" or in Vietnamese with "chuc mong nam oi". Whatever your taste in Asian ladies may run to, any of them will appreciate your efforts to recognize this special occasion.

I like to go to the amps early and usually stop by Market Street and pick up different tray items... Pizza doesn't hit me as something they like at ten AM....Took a fruit tray once with a bunch of chocolate covered strawberries and Momason and the girls really liked that.... As indicated, it's the thought that really counts....
