Tables for us short people??

I am short - 5'2 to be exact. I have a cheapo portable table (I didn't want to invest in a good one, until I was done school, you never know!!)

It's too high, even at the lowest setting, especially with a larger clients, and if I take the leg extenders off, it's too wobbly and just seems unsafe. I want to get a new one anyways, so I can have one to take when I go out of town, or people come to visit - and a good one in my room at work.

Any suggestions for portable tables that adjust well for us shorter people, or that are stable with the leg extenders off?

I am looking for something hopefully in the $300-$400 range. (Canadian )

I am 5'2" and have a Custom Craftworks Athena and an Earthlite Spirit LT. Both go low enough for me to work comfortably. I do have to adjust my techniques when working with a very large client, as then I can't quite get it low enough, but using forearms more I can work very comfortably.

The Oakworks Nova offers an extra-low height option, and it'll last a damn long time. They aren't kidding about a lifetime limited warranty. It costs a bit more, but quality pays off over the long run.

I am 5-2 and my Oakworks adjusts low enough so I can even do stretches and such. Trust me, its LOW! And it is still very secure. Had that table for 8 years now.

18"-26" height, perfect!! Thank's Jason, and Rose. Still debating between the Spirit LT and the Nova. I'll probably end up with both, eventually!

Oakworks also makes a WorkSmart Table that is very low, and the sides are not as wide as a regular table.

I also know a paraplegic therapist that has a custom table designed to let her work from her wheelchair. Her primary modality is Active Isolated Stretching. Very nice, and I can ask her who made it if someone is curious.
