Ah yes, the donation etiquette...

I can recall way back on March 20th...an envelope of gas receipts
Which was finally settled after a few agonizing months.

I simply ask when reserving an appointment time, "to be sure you have collected all the information you need to know before our appointment". That is just a simple and polite way of ..."bring the appropriate amount and familiarize yourself with my services that I do and do not offer".

It is very uncomfortable to count infront of guests, which some may interpret as mistrust, and then theres the "...I have only counted $???.00, is there a misunderstanding?" It makes us SP's VERY uncomfortable to ask for "more" and equally, if not more so, awkward to have our "guests" dig in their pocket or wallet for more of a donation.

Most of us SP's have been short-changed at one or more times in our profession.

The people that do accidentally or purposely short-change the ladies most likely will be politely reminded of the proper amount, may reduce the appt time or even refused an appt due to a possibly insulting situation, if the amount is not sufficient. If the appt has come (lol) and gone and there is a shortage, some may contact back and politely remind that there "was a lack of communication" and hopefully the amount would be arranged to be settled. If not, the "guest" becomes a "bad-boy" and an appointment would not be reserved in the future.
