I know I'm going to get slammed here.....but over the past 3 years I have been with a few of the street girls [and these were CONFIRMED girls], last time, only about 2 weeks ago. Walking back to the hotel, I have encountered a few who I have come to know. Yes, they are usually along the street by Espana Park, and yes, the trannies are along there as well. I can honestly say, based on my experience, that these girls seemed to take more precautions in every way, as compared to the average chica we find in the usual places. Always sexo con condom and even BJ con condom until they got to know me and trust me. I never had a problem with any girls being und***ge, as my hotel closely scrutinizes their cedulas, and indeed the girls always appeared to be above the legal age. Also, I have never had a problem with theft. They were always more than reasonable with price, and I usually gave them more.

If ever there was a case for "YMMV"......this is it.

There always seems to be somewhat of a kneejerk negative reaction whenever anyone mentions street girls around here, but I wonder how many of those who've responded have actually tested the waters?

However Zebra has a point- an experienced whorticultarist that speaks spanish and is familiar with CR would obviously be a different story when it comes to this venue, and a few have posted of their success with street chicas. But still I wonder why are they on the street instead of inside the HDR or KL, Zebra did you ask your girls?

If you're implying that the SL, mp's, and strip clubs are safer and that they do the homework for us... then I would have to disagree.

I found recently that the 21 year old from the NYB that I was seeing for over a year and a half is now 18...do the math and tell me how and why the management didn't check her ID.

I find it funny how guys have such negative remarks on the street prospects. How many of you have actually walked around and checked out that scene? How many have actually pulled one and had a so called bad experience?

Have I ventured around pulling girls on the streets of SJO? Nah, but I have drove around with cabbies and checked out the availability. If the price is right, and shes up your alley, why not.

If your concerned about theft, lock your shit up. Whats she going to steal, the bible in your room? The mirror in your bathroom?

If your concerned about und***ge girls, check her ID. If you think the MP's and BM are und***ge proof, your sadly mistaken. If youve never met a girl in the BM/MP that is und***ge, you again are sadly mistaken, or worse are way to easily convinced.

Besides Zebra's post I think I've only read one other on the activity, and like I mentioned above out he IS experienced and obviously familiar with SJO. AndySpb is obviously a newbie asking a newbie question and at least I gave him a proper answer in the best interest of his own safety.
But forget it Andy, according to some guys that NEVER do it it's just as safe as anyything else and I don't know what the hell I'm talking about :evil: so good luck if you choose their advice - go wander the streets of SJO at night to pick up all the street girls you can handle.

Jeez...all the guy did was ask a question. Since the Del Rey is such a screaming bore...why not? That is his call....so why not just a simple answer.....which is....

Go south from VIPS...about four blocks or so...and you will find GIRL streetwalkers...but...they may be ALL under*ge...I don't know for sure. But SOME are under*ge...for sure.

When you get to the end of the street(I think the building directly ahead is the Women's hospital)....turn left...then left again at the next corner. You will be heading back to San Jose central. The next two corners are where they hang out...usually three or four together.

You should pass Clinica Biblica on your right. The girls come out after 7 P.M.

I'll let others judge the merits.
