Just my two bits - usually when they start marking up for undraped massages, it's time to take a hike, because chances are that the whole deal will be of poor value and that there is no value to begin with...just the advertisers desire to generate lots of cash, fast. However, I am hopeful that someone else will discover a gem here, an exception.

Usual tactic with new girls isnt it? Ask for the moon for extras with bad service and some guys will pay it hoping to find the next gem. Q did she share a picture or anything to give reason as to why the cost jumps up so much? Does the +40 include a HE or is that just to have the privilege of lying naked in front of her?

No picture. Regular draped massage is $85 per hour; when asked about undraped and extras, she stated that it is +$40 to +$200.

Still $85 for a massage (unless that is her mobile rate) from a home based student who cannot provide receipts! Does that not sound a bit high to people especially since she is still in training? I would love to know why she feels she can charge that when many home based therapists charge about $60 up. Look at Tina who used to be by Bonnie Doon and now on the south side $100 all in, Extreme April (who is not an RMT like the Spruce Grove girl) gives a massage and more for $140!
I will pay for good service but as mentioned on other threads it seems some RMT's feel they can charge whatever they want as long as there may be a hint of extras and now it seems students can as well! We as a community cannot complain about high prices and then support those prices by enabling girls like this.
Just my thoughts and personally I will pass just on principle.

King Street Massage and Spa (17 A-100 King Street, Spruce Grove, a few blocks from Parkland 16A Highway):

So, it appears the Westmount location has expanded into Spruce Grove, and Kijiji, twice daily...has been advertising $70/hr., $45/ 30 minute service, including free sauna. Being a sucker for a great deal, I had to visit the place. But, now that I have: I might be buying one of those Chinese percussion massage rods/sticks that Linda used to use on my draped back at Xiaoping, and beat myself over the head with it.

I think this was a rushed opening, and/or they are trying to raise money with the special, to finish the renos.

THE FACILITY
I show up to the place, which is in I think "The Grove Plaza", and it is behind the Harvey's. Hard to find at first, as there was no signage, just one letter above the 17A entrance door. Opening the door, it has that typical noisy chime, smacking the glass door, as I walk in. Right away, I see unfinished concrete floors, and a few chairs by the door, a couple of them, almost in direct view of the door of the first massage room on the left.
A few minutes pass by, and the door of this room, opens and out comes a young lady that normally would be that cute, young receptionist....but....clearly the massage room is poorly positioned creating the view I was not expecting to see. (FIRST STRIKE against the facility) She had a client on the table, and she is one of their masseuses. My intel about this lady is that she is going by "Helen".

They have a website setup to book online, there is only one name, and it not "Helen". Needless to say, she seemed to speak barely any English, or her accent was too thick, because I couldn't understand her. And even though she wore a mask, she looked to be in her early twenties, cute, pretty eyes, slim body....and she....was not going to be my masseuse. "Kelly" was going to be my masseuse, but after I tried out the sauna.

The Sauna:

Besides the view of "Helen", this was the highlight of the visit. Before I walked down the hallway to the Sauna room, across from the first room, was a curtained off lounge room (probably for staff), to pay by debit/credit, middle right was another massage room(mine)....directly across from the sauna room, in perfect view of each other. (You can see how that would be problematic?) I guess that might fall under STRIKE 1 against the facilities.

THE SAUNA room had concrete floors too, but it was very nice. Mood lights outside the Sauna, made it very relaxing for the 10 to 15 minutes I was in there, until my quiet tranquility was interupted with: "bang, bang, bang!!" At first it sounded to be distant, at a back door, or something. "Bang, Bang, Bang" In a relaxed slumber, I realised it was "Kelly" and it was time for my massage.

When I left the Sauna room, I noticed I think another massage room behind the Sauna Room, and then a bathroom. Beside my massage room, on the right side of the hallway, at the end, was a barren room, maybe where a shower will be built. (MY HOT, SWEATY BODY COULD HAVE USED A SHOWER- STRIKE 2)

The Massage Atmosphere:

I was tempted to drape myself right away. Kelly reminded me of Frannie/Flora in her body type, and I felt it might be awkward. But, I was trying to test the place out for you guys, so I remained O Natural. Table seemed small, cheap and two facecloths sat on the face rest, instead of a proper cover. Large room, with sink, reminded of the old place, the skinny Kelly used to work at, off of Stoney Plain Road.

As the massage started, and progressed, the concrete floors made the sounds outside the room, disturb my peace: door closing, other sink being turned on, "Helen's" percussion massages on her client after running water, the door chime banging on the door, as "Helen" said "bye" to her customer, and shortly later, the door opening for "Helen" to greet her next customer.

KELLY'S MASSAGE STYLE:

Started good with Acupressure, up and down back, legs, shoulder and neck. Ended good with feet and leg stretching massage. The large middle portion was just one big, convoluted mess, with so much time spent on back, and back of legs, there was only a few minutes for the front. She would break each area up into left, centre, and right portions, left and right legs. She would put two hand together and push hard with both long, slow strokes and short quick strokes. Starting from the shoulders, she would be going to middle of the back 6to10x, middle of the back to glutes 6 to 10x, glutes to middle of the legs 6 to 10x, middle of legs to ankles 6to10x. The oil smelled like that yucky, useless baby oil. My legs would rub against some exposed padding making indescribable noises, the table would make creeking noises a little. At the beginning, she surprised me by getting on top. A dress masked her figure, but to me she seemed like a large lady. This table seemed too small, even for an average sized lady. I was scared that between my 200 lb.frame and hers, this table might collapse.

This is a Spruce Grove business, so I won't mention what was discussed before the flip. (Let's just say: she appreciates generous tips.) Just read the Westmount massage reviews, and you will get a general idea of how ymmv. Before the flip, she ran the water to heat it up. That is how they are getting hot towels to get the oil off.
FACILITY STRIKE 3.


Facilities: 3.5/10 (with most of the points awarded to the Sauna.)

Customer Service: 8.5/10

Massage: 5.75/10

If someone could T.O.F.T.T, call and book with Helen to see if she is any good...I would be curious. But, until they finish the renos, the price point, and sauna....is not enough for me to return and give Helen a try. Just as well: unless she was pretending to be bad at English, how would she understand what my massage needs are?

Only saw her for a few minutes, and she returned to her room. Definitely in her twenties, slim, tight bum (I think...I am not sure if I looked at her bum, when she went back to her room.)

Note: I just checked out the ad you are referring to. The Coco (surprise, surprise) is advertised as 28 years old and they include her measurements. I am surprised they are using Leolist. Leolist ad says $80/hr., Kijiji ad says $70/hr. And they advertise hot towel warmers...they must have just got them in.

They are sure putting it out there, what direction they have the business in.

But I am seriously wondering if the use of Coco as a name by everyone is to prevent easy identification for review purposes. Those who do not want to be singled out for easily identifiable reviews will name herself "Coco". A Coco can move from location to location without having any reviews, good or bad, follow them.

They use to do this in the late 70s film Logan's Run: Logan 5, Francis 7, Jessica 6, Holly 13 (the one and only Farah Fawcett-Majors; I still can see that poster hanging up on my wall, that and Linda Carter poster). This is the trend to follow those futuristic films as with the electric car, heating food in a magical box without radiant heat, cars without drivers automatically driven. Again the Asians are ahead of the field after they invented gun powder, noodles, karaoke and fortune cookie.
