Spiritually what approach do you think is best to introduce atheism to...

...joe public? The dawkins approach?Others? Joes public is to ignorant of what atheism is. They are scared of what they dont know?

Any other ideas?
I am thinking of getting a bunch of hot Hollywood types who are atheist, and have them pose in racy pictures.

go with a subtle non belief thing. don't tell christians they're wrong. you just want to get your message out not tell other people that their message is blowing it. keep it up beat. don't say anything directly abut the religious.. and may i suggest looking into theism? im not really religious but theism answered a lot of religion to non religion questions.

I am a catholic whose brother is a hard core atheist.
I think atheism has always been too polemical and confrontational.
The best way to talk about atheist ideas is to emphasize positive themes like relgious freedom and the promotion of science. Like Madalyn Murray before him, IMHO Dawkins drives people to religion by calling them idiots. Even stupid people think they are smart.

btw- I have gone to atheist meetings at my local college. The students there came off as weirdos- people rebelling against their 'rents religion, and nerds who were never pciked for basketball in gym.
Do not turn off people. It does not help.
