Since spaboom gift certificates are printed at clients homes, often times the purchaser will trim the certificate.
I have had more than one certificate come in with the "fine print details" trimmed of of the certificate. I am sure this is by accident.
I didnt even realize this until I had to print a certificate for a client who lost her certificate and is coming in tomarrow. I almost trimmed of the bottom of the certificate myself! It was then when I looked back at some spaboom gift certs I had laying around yet and confirmed that the bottom of the certificate was not there.
The bottom of the certificate is white with black printing; totally different from the upper portion of the certificate. For those still without spaboom, you can see what I am talking about on the home page, they have a couple example photos on the spaboom home page, http://www.spaboom.com .
You can choose to put whatever info you want on this part of the certificate. In my case, I have listed that certificates are subject to my cancelation policy, that I am moving my office very soon, and that certificates cannot be redeemed for cash.
I also think it would be a good idea if spaboom recommended printing certificates on card stock if available, it would make the certificates look a bit nicer.
I am going to email spaboom and see what they say about this.
