Are the masood family being used by the bbc to slowly introduce and get the masses used to sharia law? i think Zainabs over use of the word "Shame" is used instead of using the word "sharia"

I don't think so. Shame is a word that is used by lots of Asians of a certain generation - shame is something that is important to avoid. Zainab saying "this will bring shame on the family" doesn't somehow translate to "this will bring sharia on the family" - somehow it doesn't make sense, capishe?

Edit: paul - my mum uses the shame word a LOT and she is a Hindu. News flash: Sharia law already exists in the UK, all muslims live by it and have done so here for decades. So if Z is really *secretly* (as you think) referring to sharia law, it's really not that radical.

Plus the two parents Zainab and Masoud are not played by muslim actors. It's NOT a muslim conspiracy.

Unfortunately tripe like Eastenders is a good vehicle for getting people accustomed to all sorts of stuff. Possibly (definitely?) more so than the news.

Although not the same, the Gamu fiasco highlights this sort of thing for me. Before that I bet no one cared at all at the plight on Zimbabwe (or this 1 Zimbabwean). For a brief moment they did. Now they've moved on to the next 5 minute wonder.

I think I would rather have my teeth pulled than watch east enders. But, yea, I see your point. If you ever want to get anything into the minds of the brain dead British then you can count on them watching that sh*t every time. The BBC should be financed by the government. It is nothing but a government broadcasting facility anyway.....It certainly doesn't produce any thing worth watching these days.
