besides the fact that there is no subway off staten island...its ferry or bus only, both time consuming. Sometimes I get home from work it's late evening, I eat and then want to hobby. But dont feel like traveling round trip of 3hrs to do so, now throw in a girl who doesnt asnwer when you get there, you have a 3 hr trip wasted.
it'd be nice to have a nice close affordable option, thats all. for when you don't have time or feel like traveling. It's the no hassle thing...which is half the reason for hobbying, no hassle. no wine and dine, just fun.

wow, I live in mid town west, and i HATE to pass Park Ave. To me Park Ave is the east end and nothing exists beyond the Park. I feel like I need my passport to go to Queens or Brooklyn, and I might need SpaceShuttle to go to NJ.

There is something I don't quite understand about New Yorkers, or maybe transplanted New Yorkers. It seems that people who live in Manhattan play only in Manhattan, people living in Queens play only in Queens, people in SI plays in SI. It's like these people have never seen or heard of the subway. NYC is comprised of 5 boroughs; travelled around, see what each borough has to offer. Lastly, have fun; don't allow yourself to be stuck where you are.
