Bachmann and Palin are two of a kind. Attention seeking losers with no ethics. Sadly they know that their followers lack the critical thinking skills to bother to check their lies.

She doesn't believe in the notion of being two steps ahead. Conservatives really don't - example: global warming. It doesn't exist, but look at the extreme weather events hitting red states (global warming causes more extreme weather patterns). They're the first ones to look flabbergasted and turn to the govt. for help. Thought you didn't want govt. in your lives?

If you want independence, try homeowner's insurance, now that we "caught wind" of what is to come from Mother Earth. Take your own advice and take care of yourselves instead of calling to Obama for money, red state cons!

Because Michele Bachmann KNOWS that if the debt ceiling limit is not raised, something will happen.

And that something will be the U. S. government not having enough money to handle their day-to-day operations, which includes paying our troops, sending out social security checks, etc.

The mere fact that she and 2 other Republicans introduced this bill should be a red flag to all who believes that nothing will happen as she says.

She is contradicting herself by introducing this bill.

Because she's wrong and she's posturing for attention. The govt can promise to pay the troops and social security recipients all they want but if there is no money in the bank to pay the cheques it's a moot point.

saying nothing will happen if the debt ceiling isn't raised is a lie in the 1st place, thats why.....if the debt ceiling isn't raised we will have officially reached our limit of our debt and what we owe and all the money we have borrowed from other countries and government will literally fail, so there is no choice but TO raise the debt limit, its just a matter of how and to what

If you remember the threat of republicans causing a Gov. shut down you also remember they tried to pass a bill that would pay the troops. It failed so they didn't shut the Gov. down, how ever , if it would have passed they would have surely shut down the Gov. She knows the debt ceiling will be raised and this will be another one of her bills to fail, the house will not even bring it to a vote. She is a waist of time.
