Showing up for a week and I have a few questions.

This rio strip bar is not so good! I went in there once after I had seen it so many times. First all (or most) of the girls were russian. Second, the bar has dancers and hookers. The hookers are not so attractive and I think the price was something like 4000kc for a half hour (??) Anyway it is more than the average rate in these kind of places.

So there was one really pretty dancer who came to sit and pretended that she was really interested in me and told me if to wait til the end of the night and she would leave and meet me somewhere later. That sounds fishy, but I successfully had this happen before in an other place in prague so I believed her. So i bought her some drinks then she convinced me to do a private dance for 2500kc then she disappeared.

So the warning is that it is expensive and the girls are swindlers! but I didnt know you could stay in there.

The cab from airport to old town is 500kc = $20 if you get one of the taxis in front of the airport. if you have a mobile phone and you call city taxi or aaa taxi it is only 250 or 300kc.

How much is a cab from the airport down to old town?

Where's a good place to stay for one day. I'm renting an apartment for a week beginning on Sunday, but arrive on Saturday morning and need a place to stay for one day. I was thinking of staying at http://www.stripbarrio.com. Any warnings?

Would anyone be interested in hanging out, having a few beers and giving someone some advice? I'd be interested in finding the best bang for the buck in Prague. Anyway, give me a holler if you're interested.
