Yes Fireballs, I have to admit I was a PIM (Pathetic Infatuated Monger) many moons ago. And this was after I was an "established" monger and a sex "butterfly" rarely going with the same girl twice. At that particular time I was in an emotional unstable state I guess coming out of a broken relation and I got taken up by this girl as she closely resembled a former hearthrob. Anyway these relations are a nightmare ! a drain on mental and financially. If you are still interested in making it to So Cal, its best to be have a bail out option, so that you dont get stuck there. That is why I suggested the roommate situation where you dont have to take a lease and a lower cost. One thing we must remember bohemian, is that often when a woman has to choose between a "nice guy" who is underachieving financially and a jerk who makes great money, well the jerk will always win out. The problem with nice guys is that sometimes they fail to make a woman feel "protected" at least in the context of her own fucked up consumerist american mind. If you see a guy who does not have great looks or make a lot of money and he has a great piece of ass for a wife, that is usually part of what is called "the exceptional few"- Either he spotted a disfunctional angle in her approach to romance or he got her at a time when she has not fully identified her potential as a great piece of ass.
I'll give you an example of what I mean. At my job there is this secretary, maria who is generally known as the hottest chic in the building. She is married to an undocumented mexican guy who is fairly short (about 5'7)and not particularly glamorous. Everyone at my job was trying to speculate how the fuck this guy landed this great piece of ass- "he must be well endowed, he is selling drugs, she is fucking around and he lets her etc, etc. Well I befriended maria and after talking to her many times I realize all the rumors are false.
