...find out on their own? i posted this ? early but there are probably parents on here so:
he is twice my age and we have been dating for a couple of months, but since i am kind of a private person i haven't shared much about him with my family. (i am worried that they will dislike him because of his age, and that they might be rude to him). i know that i am 19 and can make decisions on my own but i want my family to like him.
he is nice, funny, smart, and has a career i just really, really like him

Though honesty is sometimes hard, I have always found it best to just bite the bullet and tell the truth from the start.

I would tell them that you are just dating him, and that he makes you happy. What more could they ask for than someone who makes you happy. Ask them to just give him a chance, and maybe they will see what you see in him

Like the others said, if your not mature enough to tell them how old he is then you're probably not mature enough to be going out with him, that being said, there's probably a different reason he's going out with you.

It is ur life girl u live it , they can't tell u u can't date him ur 19 , but just don't me disrespectful to ur parents about it tell ur bf before they meet him not to worry about any thing they say and u should be ok hope it helped

You should tell them. And heads up, be prepared to be in a "controlled" relationship. He will definately try to take control on you.
