Should I introduce my parents to my boyfriend now?

My boyfriend is from Germany and currently works in the U.S. but is planning to go back to Germany eventually. We are exclusive (we have been for months). I really love him, he's very handsome, passionate, very attentive, and he has been talking a lot about me coming to live with him in Germany once I finish college. Is it appropriate to invite him to meet my family and what's the best way to arrange their first meeting?

Emma, your intent is normal and good but introducing your boyfriend to your family will be wrong. When did I say wrong? Men in general always think that if they were introduce to the parents, it meant getting married. So try to manage your plan so you wont end up alone because of what you wanted to do..

Honestly I never understood the "OMG should he meet my parents?" Warn your parents you have new boyfriend and you want them to meet him soon. (Just so they don't expect the next day and to give them a heads up.) Let your boyfriend know your parents are interested in meeting him and arrange for a dinner at their house or something. If he acts weird or you or him are really nervous about hold off. But honestly if he's going to whisk you off to Germany with him he should at least meet your parents first. Good luck.
