Female humans appear to be no different from any other species of animal when it comesto mate selection. Size - in this case height - counts.

That women prefer taller men is nothing new. Short guys, unless they're rich, powerful orfamous, have come by this knowledge the hard way. And women all over the world openlyprofess desires for height in personal ads.

The question is, why? Is it the actual inches that get the female flushing, or does heightrepresent something else, such as wealth or education?

As with most televised "scientific" reports, this one is pretty worthless. Doesn't help that the first short guy has a receding hairline.

Yes, we are visual creatures. Men and women respond favourably to what is esthetically pleasing. But it's not the be all end all. Sort, fat, or ugly men have landed some seriously gorgeous girls by just having good game. I've seen some rather homely or bigger girls land some pretty good looking men the same way. Personality, body language, are a huge factor in attraction.

everone has a chance.. everyone. sterotyping short people is like saying Paul Kayia or Martin St Louis could never play in the nhl. They aren't tall enough or big enough.

Bubba: if you are not Cute-Bald or Hyperdog, then I apologize as well... but like Bear said, Hyperdog and Cute-Bald are FOREVER bringing up height (or rather lack thereof) as reasons for not having much success with civilian women... when in fact (I suspect) it is their whinny/ wussy, "woe is me"/ cry baby attitude that is responsible.
