Hi
Please anybody any insight into my question would be much apprecited . I have started to do self massage to help with my recovery from training and also to help improve the smoothness of range when I stretch .
I have found it a big help just drumming the side of my thigh (ITB) really improves my hamstring flexibility and the smoothness of range !!!
I am hooked !!!!!!!!!!
my question is I find it quite tiring massaging myself and I know you cant beat a professional pair of hands but due to location and time traveling seeing a therapist frequently is at present unrealistic unfortunately.
I have been looking into tools to help me self massage and have at present a foam roller and The Stick product . But I want something really effective and so looked into professional massage tools used by masage therapist , physios , chiros etc to save their hands when working with a high volume of clients .
Two brands kept coming up
Thumper
G5 Medical devices
I have looked into these two brands and they look very effective but my questoin is do any of you experienced people have feedback about these two products ??
I want to buy a really effective machine/device so I can relax more when I massage myself (ie)( save my hands and energy)
The G5 GMB portable model is very highly praised on a few sites I have visited but I would love to know some professionals opinions.
There might be a few brands or devices I have not even heard of that are more effective than the two I have mentioned ????????
Or there may be a specific model made by a particular brand you recommend??
Once agan I realise you cant beat a pair of hands but any insight would mean so much as I am a novice at all this ( must admit though it does fascinate me ) .
Thanks everyone for any response in advance .
Rob
