Searched while in the steam room

I went to Aloha around lunch and had all my stuff searched through. I probably won't go back knowing that while you are in the steam room they are going through your stuff. They even went through my phone. Ive never had any issues from other places like 7th Jade Blue Angel or Smile.

Just be careful guys.

If you don't go in with anything but the donation, they won't go through your "stuff". I never walk into an AMP with more than the donation and money I'm willing to spend. No ID, no phone, no wallet.

I think easychord24's idea is a good rule to follow at all times at an AMP, Provider's incall, or studio.

I keep my phone password protected, no one's going through it that easily.

Nevertheless, that's disconcerting. I've been to Cleo once, never to Aloha. Doesn't sound like I will be going, either.

More than likely, they were just trying to see if you were LE. The girls know in the long run they will make more money having you as a satisfied customer. Theft from the girls is way down on my list of concerns at an AMP. Rifling through your belongings is still a violation of privacy no one wants.

I do pretty much the same as easychord24. Before I leave my house, I change wallets and take only my drivers license, donation, plus about $10 in case I want anything on the way back home. My phone is password protected. I take it inside with me because I'm more concerned about my car being broken into.

I agree with the LE angle as to why they searched your belongings. I have been to all the various AMP's way over 100 times, and NEVER had anything show up missing. Always have several hundred on me, in case I want to do a double or something.

Personally, I feel safer trusting the girls bringing my wallet and phone in than I do leaving them in the car...especially at Jade, where you've got those homeless guys wandering around back there.

My wallet was backwards in my pants when I got back from the TS. I defininitely didn't put my curved wallet backwards in my pants, so I know somebody took a look. I don't like to carry in only the donation, because who knows, I might go for a double or a 4 hands session. I don't mind the concept of someone looking at my ID, I just worry they might get a CC number with the security code also, then book some flight tickets back to asia.

Ditto with DOG, I have never had cash lifted at an amp.

I would agree that is was probably an LE search. That probably does happen occasionally if they are suspicious for some reason.

Many of the AMPs have some kind of little pouch in the room that you can use to take your valuables with you to the shower. I have seen them, but never felt the need to use one.

I will add that on occasion I have been thoroughly "searched" in the shower, but only my most personal "valuables" were involved. Almost everything was left with me and what was taken is easily replaced. LOL

Same here (except for the number of visits). Only once (years ago) have I been sure that someone had gone through my pants. I just assumed they were checking for any evidence of LE since I'm not much of a regular at the AMPs. I understood their concern. Nothing was missing, and as best I can recall, I had a very nice time.

Yeah I've been to the Korean Amps and never had any problems. This was my first Thai Amp so they must have assumed I'm LE. I just don't see how going through my wallet is going to tell them I'm LE or not.

It stinks cuz you can't leave your stuff in the car because it might get broken into and now you can't leave it in your pants cuz they might look through it.

I'm not worried about the money because I'm sure they would be smart enough to not take any cash from the wallet. I'm more worried about them taking my info and trying to use my credit cards for online purchases etc. I've heard one place that did that but I don't remember which one.

Anyways, it's just a warning for my fellow massageplanet members to be careful. The girls did look nice. I walked by a couple in the hallway.

I have only used the little pouch one time. I was at an amp several years ago in Washington DC, and the girl just insisted I put my things in it and take it with me to the shower room. So I did.

I have always assumed she knew someone was going through customer's things and was trying to protect her customers from that.

I had a great time visiting with her by the way.

Had the same thing happen to me at Hulaland. Nothing missing, but could tell them had looked through my wallet. Never going back to an amp.... as long as the big head is thinking

You could have an ID in there. Or a LE union membership card. A small badge?
Or something that says you're not LE - finding a business card that says you sell vacuum cleaners might make them feel more relaxed.
