Figured I was due to post a review on here as it has been awhile so this week I had two massages and today I went to Pro Chinese Massage http://prochinesemassage.ca/ and had an hour with Katie.
Katie is the only RMT and this place is legit but if you are looking for a massage primarily then keep reading!
First the negatives, though her English seemed excellent Katie is not very talkative she said maybe a dozen words to me the entire visit so if you like to have conversation this could be a major negative for you, second negative was she answered her phone twice during the massage. She has bluetooth so her hands were working the entire time and the calls were quick but this is a pet peeve of mine but at the same time I realise she has a business and you need to be available to book clients. Last pet peeve is I understand she is legit but you must be draped and on the flip she did not massage any muscles or body parts 1 foot north or south of my equator if you get my drift.
Now the (minor) positives! She is cute and pleasant to look at which in my eyes is a huge plus, the place is clean quiet, comfortable and she will direct bill your insurance company.
Now the major positive, this girl gives an amazing massage! I have never had anything like it before she uses many different methods such as her arms and knuckles and feet, she rubs and shakes and kneads, at first I was a bit put off because it was so different but very quickly grew very fond of it.
If you ask her for deeper pressure she does the back walking massage but describing it like that does not do it justice. This girl has magical feet, the way she used them was amazing! There were many times I could honestly not tell if it was her feet or her hands on me and the pressure she can place on your muscles, if you like deep massages then wow!
She also covers a lot of ground in a 60 minute session. She properly massages your body, feet, ears, head plus the back walking, spending what feels like an extended time on each and every part and manages to do it in 60 minutes.
By the time she was done I was so relaxed I could barely move and all for $65 actually not even because as I said she direct bills so I only paid what my plan doesn't cover.
If you are in the NE then I would highly recommend, great VFM!
On Monday I had stopped at Best Balance and had a session with May and was happy but after this experience it doesn't seem quite as good anymore..
