Review - Anida

Thought I should finally get of my a$$ and posting a review of my first ever ponner experience (tho I'm not sure if a simple rub and tug qualifies me as a ponner or not ... so excuse me if I'm jumping the gun or not) with Sarah at Anida Massage.

I suppose I should also mention that I have been poking around massageplanet for about the last couple of weeks and the information and people and attitude here on the site is AWESOME! Tons of great information, and great reads; but I actually found out about Anida through their daily postings on CL. One of the standard ads references Sara, and the other references the Anida website, so I checked out the Website and liked the girls and the rates seemed reasonable, so I called and made appointment.

So I went in blind ... without the benefit of massageplanet (never again ... fore-armed is fore-warned) ... not that it was an issue in this case tho

Drove out to the SE for an cold afternoon appointment ... nervous as all hell.

Anida's in a standard strip mall storefront don't remember what's beside them, but with the weather there is no traffic and almost nobody parked, so I go in the front and am immediately in a small little front area, and a cute blond is at the front. I'm guessing Sara. I tell her I'm there for my appointment and pay for 45mins and she asks where I found out about them. I mumble something about "... your website ...", which I'm sure doesn't have her thinking about the CL ad.

Sara asks if I need a shower and I decline because I cleaned up just before coming, and she points me to the first room on the left. Decent sized room, shower in the corner and massage table, I strip down to my boxers and wrap a towel around me and lie on my stomach on the table.

... yes I know total noob move ... #1

Soft relaxing music and low light ... very nice atmosphere.

Hear and knock and tell Sara to come in. Sara starts with a nice amount of oil she has very nice hands ... a little lighter than I like but very relaxing.
A little light conversation, peters out pretty quickly, with how nervous I was I would have enjoy a little conversation but the silence fit the relaxation vibe perfectly.

Shoulders, arms, neck, upper back all covered and as I said nice relaxing light touch. Maybe about 10 mins in I mumble "... umm do you mind working on my lower back ..." which was probably as close as I was going to get to asking about why I had actually came.

Sara seems a bit nervous and asks if I want the towel on or off, and like a 16yr old I say "whichever, but ... if it's easiest I'm fine without the towel" ... smoooooth!

unknot the towel, and drop the boxers and back on the table.

Same deal, lots of warm oil, light touch, butt kneading, ever so little on the inside thighs ... don't there was any jewel brushing but all good.
actually very little on my lower back which was truely bugging me ... still is actually but since the primary reason I mentioned it was to lay the groundwork for a RnT/HE mission accomplished.

Not to sure how much long that was, but Sara asks if I wanted Therputic or Full Body, and well 'Pat I'll take door number two thanks.'

Has me roll over and works chest and hands/feet and legs all very nice ... but then comes total noob move #2.

because I'm so nervous and forgot to ask before I got undressed I have to pee (it's starting to harsh up my buzz) ... so I pip up "... I'm sorry but is there a bathroom I can use"

Sara gets a look of horror on her face, thinks about it a sec, (can't imagine what was going on in her head), and goes out and closes the drape to the front area and tells me where the WC is, I towel up and in dash out and back in.

Have a brief little nervous laugh, back up on the table.

A little more relaxing massage, and then to business.
Nice technique, (a little pedestrian) enjoyable release.

Warm towel clean up, and offers me a shower (solo of course) which I accept and get cleaned up.
I grab my wallet before the shower and tip her $20 ... probably twice what I would have tipped (don't know standards), but slight noob move #3 didn't have anything smaller and just couldn't ask for change.

All in all exactly what I wanted, needed and expected.

Sara is cute nice smile soft hands, maybe a bit fuller than one might expect from the pics, but no need to nit-pick.
Whole affair a bit by the numbers, but I'm sure that's from my nervousness and mixed signals (not stripping down ect...)
Much appreciation for Sara even confirming therapeutic vs full body, cause I'm sure if she hadn't I would have left an unhappy camper but wouldn't have said a thing.

Repeat - prob. not ... a good experience but I'm not sure about a couple of things

1 - If I went back I'd want to give Sara another go to see if with a repeat customer if she warms up a bit (I actually had to see if the CL ads were still being placed after my visit because there was this slight undercurrent of resigned 'do I have to?' attitude and I'm like if she that not into it maybe she won't post anymore ... not the case so maybe it's just a bit (and I do mean only a bit) of 'tude --- though it might have just been me.

2 - a bit spendy for a straight massage, factoring in the RnT/HE it's fine but with the extra amount for topless or naked [YMMV] which would be nice ( ... that I've read about as possible extras) + tip I'm just not sure about the VFM but maybe I'm off on my cost benefit analysis

although ... Jasmine does sound fun.




Guys thanks for bearing with me for my first post ... I figured I had to give back a bit for all the lurking I've done and enjoyed.

Maybe if I win the monthly massage from Anida I'll post again, or maybe I'll get the guts to graduate to Sugarland.
All the SP's sound awesome but I think they'd accidentally kill me with 'kindness'

I've been there several times and get great service. $90 + GST all in for R&T is pretty good value.

In my experience, customer service improves when both parties get to know each other more. Also, you sounded a bit nervous in your review and Sara may have picked up on that.
