Revo is pretty bad overall.

I was in Eclipse this afternoon, pretty sparse but I met up with a girl from a previous visit and had a great time. There were a couple cute ones, but I really couldn't get a good enough look to tell if they were trannies, I still suspect the better looking ones were. Some were coming in for the evening shift as I was leaving, so Saturday night might be a good time to go.


My friend there told me they would be open Wednesday night but not Sunday, my Spanish sucks so i don't know if this is every Sunday or just Easter.

Update#2 went back On Wednesday, two trannys and no customers, one tranny told me they were open Wednesday through Sunday. I'm thinking they may close randomly during the week if they can't get any girls to work. Yes I understand Eclipse re-opened weekends only. Maybe all the other bars except for Peanuts and beer, should consider opening on weekends only as they are so dead during the week. The last few months I have only been going to TJ on the weekdays, and sometimes I pop my head into these bars, and all of them re so dead. ( I'm not talking about the over priced southern high end strip clubs, just the clubs north of 7th street, the regular clubs like Pussycats, and Beverly Hills, etc etc.)

I think the tranny is now a endangered species on Revolution street! I have not seen a decent looking tranny on Revolution in months! Bambi's I looked in there last week, completely dead, I don't even think it was open, and a few months ago, I happened to be there during the day on a rare weekend prescription drug run,and popped my head in there, and only saw a few real women, one was dancing and grabbing her tits, calling out to me to come sit down and play with her.........I turned around and walked out!

I realize this is a very old question but I wanted to post an update. Eclipse is up and running, but it isn't open everyday. I've seen it closed on weekday nights occasionally, although it should be open Friday Saturday and Sunday.

I do have to agree with Fireball's response, most of the good lookers in there are trannies (although they do have some fugly shemales) and the real girls range from kind of plain to ugly.

You will find the older TVs in Bambis, I would not go in there if I was looking for a real girl.

Yeah lots of Americans smoke out in their hotel room. Some of them do alot more than smoke. Hotel Leyva, which is right next to the Chicago Club, tolerates party action and looks the other way when it comes to Americans who party. As far as the chances of getting caught in TJ while carrying a few joints are concerned, just make sure you do a good job of hiding it. Like any crime you are thinking of committing, a smart pro will always ask themself this question before the moment of execution, "What is the risk factor in doing this? Is it low, medium, high, or extremely high?" The answer always depends on the external forces you're dealing with and how well you prepare yourself for the moment. Whatever the answer is, you'll have to decide if the risk is worth the reward or how to lower the risk factor down a notch. I know taking the narcotic substances down there can be quite a crime if caught. There is no border patrol on the Mexico side right? There is only patrol coming from Mexico into the US, I assume? So if I take enough just for personal use and only smoke in the hotel room, not in public, the chances of getting caught is slim. Also if I take just enough to smoke while I'm there and take none back into US with me, the chances of getting caught is non-existent?

That must be your way of saying that the Mexican weed that they sell down there sucks. And your right, it does. I once saw a few spiders crawling around inside a big bag of weed this one taxi cab driver was trying to sell to a few hard partying Americans. Suffice to say the quality of the recreational drugs that they sell there in the Zona Norte is bad, very bad. So it makes sense to export your own brand of high caliber domestic shit. It can be done. Just do the same thing you would do if you were trying to sneak a few pharmeceuticals into the U.S. You could easily hide a few joints on your body without the policia ever finding it. We'll note that they don't have police dogs that are trained to use their nose to find drugs that people carry like they do here in the U.S. and that's a plus for you so...trip on out.
