Questions....Ching at Simple Scissors, Lynne at Magic Tan

I have a few questions, if someone wouldn't mind helping....

Never been to a massage parlor (of any kind) before. I finally stopped by simple scissors on 14th the other day for a haircut, and I was intending to get a massage as well. I got a haircut from Ching, she seems very nice and quite easy on the eyes. The haircut was excellent by the way. But when I was there, there were 3 other girls and a man playing cards, so I was a little nervous asking for a massage...I thought maybe the guy was her husband?? Not knowing much about these things....am I a bit of a prude, should I have just asked for a massage?
And has anyone gotten the $3 neck massage after a haircut? Is that done in the chair, or is it just a discreet way to go into a room for further negotiations?

I am thinking about trying Lynne at Magic Tan, reading on here she sounds like she's pretty good. So a few questions I have are:
- does a person have to make an appointment, generally, or can you quite often just do a drop in?
- I have read pretty much every post on this board and have a general idea of how these things work, but am still a bit unclear. I actually would like a real massage, as well as a little fun at the end...so, do I ask for an hour massage, and then will she ask if I am interested in anything else, or do I have to mention it? Or do you just kind of go with the flow??
- What is a reasonable amount to pay....say I want a 1 hour massage with just a HJ at the end....what do I pay for the massage, and how much for the extra? Is it common to ask for a reverse massage (I massage her), and what is the general cost range for that?

A few answers:

1. If you're interested in seeing someone specific (i.e. not just whoever happens to be available at the studio you choose) you're probably better off calling a bit in advance to determine her schedule.

2. Receiving a "real massage" is typically more dependent on the provider chosen than the amount of time booked. Some mps will ask you to flip over after 5 minutes of something resembling an oily rub on the back regardless of how long you've asked for. Others provide a pleasant relaxation massage approximating the time requested prior to a discussion of extras.

3. Door fees based on length of time requested are generally well posted at the parlour and typically amount to $1/minute. If you've read "pretty much every post on this board", you should have a fairly good idea what an appropriate tip for a HJ is.

Lynne always locks the front door when she is with a client.Usually the "Open" sign is there if she is working but you can always call ahead to make sure.

Just try to go with the open sign on the door. It's sometimes hit and miss. Never know when another pooner is enjoying himself.

For any MP just go in and pay the door fee and then subtly mention if there is any 'extras' or ask for a 'complete' massage. Also leaving $ on the table also gives them the idea of what you may need.

Don't wait until the 29th minute to do it either.

Worse comes to worse you get a massage. But it's always better when there's a happy ending.

Ching gives a great haircut, and is warm and friendly. You can get a massage in the chair, but it is better if you go in the back with her, or one of her staff (usually one of the girls playing cards, but don't expect all of them to be working some are just there to play)

You're right Rocker she could be our grandma and charges a brown for a hj. Go to French Maid for amateur night (the girls get $50 vouchers to other bars for taking their clothes off) and offer them $100 after the dance and you'll get much more than you get from Lynne or any other money hungry professional providers.
I got to admit though, Lynne is quite nice, polite and unrushed, but charges way too much. She used to charge $45 for hj just a while back.
