So I am new to doing weights and I am quite overweight (5'4" and 165 lbs due to meds I have to be on for life), but I can do the stairs at work for an hour (about 100 stairs to the top). But I need to build my upper body strength, and have 5 lb weights, and I want to know how many days a week I should do weights, and how many repetitions I should start off with. Advice would be greatly appreciated! Also trying to cut down my sugar consumption and eat less fat and more veggies.
