I recently ordered two New Wave II Hardwood tables with nylon web tops for my practice. I have to say that I both love and hate these tables at the same time. I love the concept of the web top. Clients aren't lying on foam on top of plywood, the lying on a woven nylon straps offers great comfort and absorption of pressure. However, this is the noisiest table I have ever used. They are made with "nylon washers and bushings at all joints to provide friction free and absolute quiet operation"(per their website), but I keep having to tighten them up to keep them quiet. It drives me nuts. Does anyone else have any opinions on this table?

I believe there are some threads (or maybe one) in the Chair Massage Section about the ones people use fr chair massage, if that is of help. Not the same, but similar. (??)

Have you tried contacting the company about your noise issue? I have both..........the dolphin chair and pisces new wave II metal table and love them both!! I did have an issue early on with the face cradle on the chair. Called the company and they sent out a newly designed replacement at no cost. I found them to be very cooperative and helpful.

I think I figured out the problem. I'm pretty sure it is the wood of the legs rubbing against the wood of the leg extenders. I made sure the knobs were really tight. However, I forgot to mention previously that the face cradles are big time annoying. They use a lever in the center to lock the angle in place. It when you switch the lever, it rubs against the part above it and makes this horrible screech. I think if they put a piece of felt here it would help. I will definitely write them about that.
