Pet Peeve

[Littlestuff]

I know Festivus has long past, but I don’t like it when the MT comes in after the massage to change sheets and clean up…while I’m still changing. Seems petty, but for some reason that really annoys me. It’s happened the last 2 of 3 visits…all at different places.
There are far worse transgressions, but I’ve always hated that, weird that it happened so frequently at my most recent visits….whatever, I’ll get over it.

LOL! The flasher in me likes to think she came in for one last look! Otherwise it's nice to just chat a few minutes longer or get in another private hug or kiss- don't mind at all!

There are much more annoying transgressions: One handed massage while texting; talking to co-workers through the wall; leaving the room to answer the door chime; taking a walk-in just before you arrive for your appt. and telling you to come back in an hour; giving you a dirty look when you hand her a nice tip; Yawning, Farting; long, sharp fingernails- I could go on and on!

Not just Betty, Cindy@Strathcona for example, no matter how good she is at many things, she still talks through the wall and looks at her phone during sessions. Indy Cherry was notorious for talking on her phone through out the massage using her headset; would have abandoned her but that body and that after massage skill hooked me. LOL, who am I kidding, if Cherry is back in town, I would be her regular again no doubt. As far as farting was concerned, there was only one that I heard of.

For me, it is the notorious "how many can you afford?" question. Just give me a price and charge me the same as everyone else and I am happy; I am not here to buy a car. In an age of distractions, most of us go for a massage session to enjoy undivided attention. My loyalty and cash is now invested only on the very few providers (who also take pride in giving excellent massages) who can manage their businesses to provide this type of service. Shop Managers barking at Therapists through doors and walls, therapists texting throughout the massage etc.. I communicate my concerns politely on one or two visits. No change, stop visiting, and stop responding to their text messages. Period.

Imho, the OP has a point. When it's a small room, after the massage when you had to duck out to a separate shower room, and return to your small massage room to get clothes, and the MT is doing all her spraying and sheets changing, and she appears rushed, it can take away from the 'relaxed' feeling.

On the other hand, I have memories of a positive experience at a shop in your fine city. At Comfort Oasis, in the early years. Had a late night one hour appointment close to the official closing time due to long hours of work meetings. The room I was in was very spacious and had the shower in one corner. After the hour of massage and fun, I paid the fees and tips directly to the MT as she had to go home right away, and she told me that the other lady would be there to show me out after my shower. She told me "no rush" and left. As I was showering, taking my relaxed time, other lady, a short woman enters the room, and started to change the sheets on the table, and pat things down. Being a large room, it was not disturbing. I came out of the shower, grabbed my fresh towel and started to dry myself. Short woman said 'hello', looked at me, up and down, and introduced herself as 'Amy'. . I left about 90 minutes later.
