Juanfunn, I agree this is not a sport site, once in while I "stray",after all how much can you f***, I try to make it up with the "love" postings but that hasnt happened either. Thanks to the regular posters for the various threads.
Anyway Favre is back in GB, well, its a bit early about this NFL thread anyway

I wholeheartedly agree. I think it is nice to see mongers discuss something like football, it adds a certain element of balance to our image IMHO.
As far as favre goes, I do think he can play somewhere else and be succesful like tampa. I would never consider him the best ever though (sorry bohemian)

There is nothing better to do after your favorite football team lost the big game and your feeling dejected and pissed off.....that you go to Tijuana and forget that bad game experience with a few drinks and a nice chica by your side.

I really don't care about Brett Favre......maybe if I were still a little kid I'd be upset with the Packers front office saying how dare they do this to a superstar like Brett Favre. But football is a business, and it's a big business with lots of money floating around. So I believe it's up to a player and a team to make the best possible deal for themselves, and what ever they do it's a business decision.

See how much sympathy Favre would get if the worked a 9 to 5 regular job?

Favre is a gamer. He will compete hard everywhere. This guy doesn't need any stinking plays...just to draw plays in the dirt and deal.

At some point he may be too old, but from what I can see, he still got some play in him.

Alright guys youwill have to excuse me for starting this thread, its my yearly "ritual". There are many things going on even if off seaon pro football.
I will just start with this topic

Brett Favre and Green Bay Packers
Just when I thought Favre retired for good, here he comes back again. Much as I admire him like the rest of Americans, I am pissed off with his dilly dallying or flip flopping since last 4 years ! Darn shows how the best quarmassageplanet.netack ever (arguably) can make a mess in his waning years ! I think the Packers had the made the right decision and here comes Favre to mess it all up. I think they should change the NFL retirement rule to make it credible something like have a one year process of reinstating if one wants to come back after resigning.
BTW, I dont think Favre will be good anywhere else, it takes time to learn offense. And he has virtually ruled himself out of Green Bay. Remember what happened to Steve McNair from the Titans ending up being benched in the end in Baltimore ! Atleast he had not retired, but was foreced out by Titans ! Favre will just make a fool of himself. But I guess the money is more important...............
