Prague is like any other city you are a foreigner to, all you need to do is exercise caution, and always check the price of things beforehand.

There is a list of places to avoid, and also a list of all the latest scams that are being used, aswell as a list of reputable taxi services , which can all be found on the US Embassy website in .CZ

Also make sure you dont carry around more money than you need, cause this is just nonsensical.

Western Europe is totally different to the rest, they are alot more laid back and relaxed, they are generally friendly, but also very rude if you catch them in a bad mood.

As far as clubs go , if a pretty girl/girls walk up to you and persuae you to go somewhere with them, 9 times out of 10 , your being led blindly straight into a club or resturant owned by Russian Mafia.

Prague is a safe city, or at least as safe as most other western European cities.

You need to watch out for gypsies and pickpocketers (who work in gangs and target foreign tourists, especially in summer) but a little common sense is all that's needed.

There are a number of scams against tourists you need to watch out for, like changing money in the small money change offices. They advertise the selling rate, which is much better than the buying rate.

Don't let any of this put you off. These warnings could apply to just about any city in the world. You're trip to Prague will probably be hassle free.

Prague is very safe, you have to watch out for pickpockets and taxi scams. Other than that as long as you stay in the inner city.

As to your original question. You succes in picking up non-pros depends on charm and looks. If can pick up at home or in America, you can probably pick up in Prague.

Hey there

Alot of the locals have fled alot of the commercial clubs due to all the tourists, cause where the tourists go , the hookers go to, this didnt go over to well with the local crowd wo apprently they migrate alot to different venue's apprently its very hit and miss, what you need to do is meet up with locals, this way you know where they hangout.

I've never been to Prague but am wondering what clubs would be the best to pick up girls (no money) just looking for a good time. Is it as easy picking up girls in the bars here in North America or if a foreigner tries to pick up a Czech girl, the guy usually gets turn down.
