Im going into highschool this year, and was thinking of joining ice hockey. I've never played ice hockey before, and my dad keeps saying "you don't know how to play ice hockey, how are you able to play with people who played all there life?" so i was wondering...if you've never played a sport before do the coaches put you on a team with new players? and isn't divided by age, and grade? What was your experience to a new sport?
