Newbie and sophisticated coffee drinkers: describe your faorite cup of

Or share a coffee memory: I remember my brother in law getting all glassy eyed and a far away look when he would say, "KONA"...like it was a mantra or something. I tried some and it is special. My favorite is any kind my wife shares with me...if accompanied by a fresh baked cookie, so much the better. Now, your turn...

I have not tried very many types of Coffee but as far as i know i don't like it much

I like an occasional cup of French Vanilla when the weather is cold, but my very favorite is plain old black coffee!

I used to drink sugar in my coffee, but I was working construction with a bunch of men & we ran out of sugar & I was too embarrassed to be the only one that needed it, so I just started drinking it black.

My happiest coffee moment was when I realized that Starbucks didn't really discontinue the Short cup, they just hid it behind the counter. I like Cafe Lattes and the occasional Cappuccino. I just don't like them with a ton of milk. The short cup with a double Cafe Latte or a regular Cappuccino is absolutely perfect.

Here's an embarrassing story (and the reason I say Cafe Latte now, not just Latte). I went to Italy (at a point in time when Starbucks had been around for a while and I was big on the "lattes") and was at a coffee bar at a train station. My friend ordered a Cappuccino. All good. I ordered a Latte. Oops - guess what - I got a glass of steamed milk. Learned my lesson!

Not a sophisticated coffee drinker. I buy the cans of coffee that have cream in them and usually get the sugar free, but it has sweetener. I'd rather have the straight cappuccino, but they don't sell it unless you want to grind it yourself or go to a restaurant. My favorite one actually does have sugar in it. It's the butterscotch type of cappuccino (forget the exact name). It comes in a tall can.
