Need help php???PHP below level newbie here.XD?

I really want to learn PHP but i dont know where should i start 1st.i already install dreamweaver and XAMPP and i said "oh ,ok..what is this".i just install it..Where 2 put the code??interface??database??please somebody help me,give some guideline,so i can start my coding and give me some tips also..Oya,i have been given an assigment to do a system on bus booking..Do u guys have anyIdea on the interface,im work the coding myself(if i can,hopefully)..
P/s:~u guys can put some example or even sites..

Search with Google for "php tutorials". There is enough information on the internet.

And why starting a big assignment like that, if you can't any PHP yet? You can't learn that in a week to be good enough to start projects like that.

I'm guessing you're using Windows here.

Ok, you should have a folder in your C drive called xampp. There should be another folder in there called www, htdocs or public_html. Inside this folder is where your web files are stored.

To test everything is working, do the following:

1. Open notepad.
2. Type the following into a new document:

echo ("Hello World!<br />");
phpinfo();
?>

3. Save the file as index.php in your www/public_html/htdocs folder.
4.Open a web browser and go to 127.0.0.1
5. You should see The text Hello world and some other info.

If this doesn't work check xampp is enabled.

Search on google for a program called "WAMP" it is an all inclusive PHP mysql and more in one package that you can install easily on your window / lynux based system and can operate PHP from your own computer.
Then follow the wamp instructions on how to run web based applications or on its own php scripts.
You can also seek tutorials through w3school.com online.
The php.net web site offers explanation on every possible function which is pretty easy to understand.
Just follow those simple rules:
semi colon at the end of every function
variables are always start with a $ sign
and double quotation " is not the same as single quotation '

First program in notepad text file can look like this:
<php
echo "hello";
?>

You can write that in HTML file also but it has to have the extension of .php instead of .html
Then search for php.exe on your computer and run the file like this from the command prompt
php.exe c:\my_php_files\my_first_php_program.php
