What would be the purpose of this add if it is a scam? A scam for what? I fail to see any financial advantage. Isn’t that what it’s really all about? ......or am a stupidly ignorant about these adds?

The only angle I can see for this is to get your name and phone number from call display for the purpose of harassing you later; especially if you admit to going to an adult massage parlour (see above). Another reason to contact suspicious ads with texting apps or burner phones.

In the Calgary Kijiji there is a funny massage ad from a student, dance and spin instructor, amateur non RMT, for 85/hr massage, no extras. And she wants your government id photo and a policy agreement re no monkey business etc etc. Seriously, are there that many stupid guys around to fall for this crap? Will send her my Planet of The Apes passport pic.
