I haven't been to TJ since a few cops mugged me for $400 2 years ago. This happened on Revolucion when I took a girl from a strip club to a hotel on Rev. I think the hotel owners are in on it and they call the police when a monger takes a girl into the hotel.

If you ever want to go to TJ, just PM me and let me know when you're planning to go. I go down there 3 or 4 times a week, and always on the weekends, as I live about 10 miles away from the border. I can show you around the place, the good places to go, and the places to stay away from, assuming you are straight. If you bat for the other team, there are twice as many places that will cater to your needs. Although I will not go into a tranny bar with you ( I am definitely homophobic ) I can show you all the places to get more mileage for the buck in the Zone. To be honest with you, the only difference I have ever seen in TJ, is the Whites spend more cash than the blacks do, and they are alot freer with how they spread their money around. That is a fact. So in that respect, they may approach black, asian, and Whites in a different manner when trying to seperate you from your cash, as they would with my cash. Translated, that means you will probably pay less for what you want than I will. They are pretty good about sizing up a potential sale. Realistically thats the only difference. However in that vein, the cops and rateros will stop me and fuck with me in an attempted shakedown long before they ever would you. So you come out ahead of me in that regard. I say go to TJ anytime you want to, and you won't have any problems as long as you use common sense. I don't know how many times you've been to TJ, but a lot of people, including myself, go mostly during the daytime, or if I do stay to the night time hours, I make sure I get my ass back on the shuttle that returns me back to the border-- the last shuttle leaves the Revolution Ave station at 9:00pm, that goes back to the US border, and costs $3.00. It takes you right to the doors at customs, so you bypass all the shitbag TJ cops looking to shake down american tourists going back to the US, then drives you back to the US parking area where your car is. A good deal for the money IMO.

I've traveled many times to TJ and haven't had any problems yet. But I also stay around AB and CC. If is during the day, I walk from the border to AB and no problems.
