2020 has been a crap year with the coronavirus and all the shutdowns, it’s a more important time than ever to check-in with your neighbours, family and friends to provide a little support through this unprecedented period.

Better times are just around the corner, be resilient and push through the next few months. Stay positive and be nice to each other (this is a challenge for me these days), as you don’t know the hardship/difficulties everyone is going through. I’ve seen some difficult and belligerent people over the past several weeks and realize most of them need some reassurance and support over a tongue lashing or backhand.

Wishing everyone a great Christmas and a healthy New Year. I’m sure 2021 will be a prosperous one filled with numerous happy and relaxing massages!

Great post. One of the reasons I feel so strongly about Covid and locking down is that my daughter is a nurse in ER and on a daily basis she is dealing with patients who are admitted with the virus. As luck would have it, she works on the 24th, 25th, and the 26th. I told her that I would put a small turkey in my smoker and give part of it to her so she can at least have some leftovers. Well the best laid plans.

I decided to expand it a bit and that she and her S.O. should have a Christmas dinner like most of the rest of the world. So, when she gets home she will find my butternut squash soup to start, smoked turkey , potatoes and gravy, asparagus with home made mayonnaise followed by pecan pie. All left on her doorstep. Doing that for her made me feel as good as if I had been there to share it with them.

Nursing is also Yeoman’s work, spent my share of time in hospitals and their work is greatly undervalued. Working through the holidays on skeleton crews makes the job even tougher. Coming home to a pre-made meal will provide some Christmas cheer to her and the date...nicely done.

touch base with your family, neighbours and co-workers. Mental stress will be one of the largest affected areas affected by covid . It can be devastating

Myself I have been tested 16 times for Covid-19 with all of them resulting negative. My nerves are under control and people around me have a peace of mind too knowing that I’m negative... or have been negative at this point .

In addition, I want to let know people that there is a blood test on the market that can show if you had Covid at some point. Studies have shown that people who have contracted Covid have natural antibiotics that could make someone immune to COVID-19

I agree with you.... 2021 and 2022 are going to be challenging years but we are in better conditions than the Jewish people who survived the Holocaust (dehydrated, anemic and sick in general) and nowadays most of them are successful business owners so we will do better than they did, we just have to keep a positive and hard working attitude.
