Massage therapist at Kirkwood spa charged with sex crimes against patron - First Alert 4

CLAYTON, Mo. (First Alert 4) - A licensed massage therapist at a Kirkwood spa is charged with sex crimes against a patron of the business.

St. Louis County prosecutors on Friday charged Jon Lindbergh with second-degree sodomy, a class D felony, and two counts of misdemeanor second-degree sexual abuse. He is currently confined in the St. Louis County Jail on a $100,000 cash-only bond.

According to a Kirkwood Police probable case statement, the alleged crimes happened on Sept. 24 as Lindbergh was working at a MassageLuXe location. The victim visited the spa for a massage and told police the suspect sexually assaulted her.

First Alert 4 reached out to MassageLuXe for comment and is awaiting a response. Missouri Division of Professional Registration records show Lindbergh was licensed in January 2022 in St. Louis County.

An initial court appearance for Lindbergh has not been set.
