Manipulation of the Review Section of Board

I`m starting a new thread because if I`m correct in my belief and I`m successful in convincing you that I am, then there will be no reason for this thread to continue.

IMHO Juliana epitomizes the downside of allowing providers to personally participate in the Review Section of the Board. Let`s be clear about it, I`m not going to be making any comments on her skills or lack of them as an MP. Opinions have been both pro and con.

The purpose of this post is to point out (again) how great a PR manipulator Juliana is for herself and not to the benefit of the Board. As long as she can keep the pot boiling by enticing posters into the fray - pro or con, it really makes no difference - Juliana`s name appears near the top of the Montreal Massage Review Section, and has succeeded in getting her name in your face and before your eyes for free. And if the the flow of posts slows down, Juliana has the liberty of easily stoking the fire again by putting in her own inflammatory two cents. Pro or con, Juliana always remains in a "win-win" position.

Juliana, now, doesn`t have to do any shilling. It`s you guys - all of you who post in her thread - that are in effect doing the shilling for her. So how do you stop allowing yourselves from being manipulated to act as Juliana`s "shills by proxy"? How do you stop allowing yourselves from being used to provide her free advertising?

Simple!! Just stop posting in any thread in which her name appears. With no fire to stoke, she`ll be forced to use the advertising section which was set up just for that purpose. Every time you feel the need to post in her thread, take a deep breath, count to ten, and DON`T!

I feel uncomfortable reviewing someone I saw if I know full well she is reading the posts and participating. Juliana is NOT the only one in this category. However my curiousity is being peaked by all the reviews. So as I have heard said "good and bad press is better than NO press'

IMHO, all supportive members (including Juliana) have the right not only to participate in their own review thread(s) but as well as any other threads they want. Their posts are to be judged on their merits. If Juliana offends you so much, just put her on your ignore list and you'll sleep better that way.

Why target Juliana and not all the other providers like Ronnie (naughtylady). Sophia, recently Maylee and in particular the now retired Chloe (jutz_a_girl) who have all done so intelligently and have provided useful contributions and insights to this board. Why target Juliana and not all the agency managers who most evidently, for their own business sake, are doing the same thing.

I don't have any agenda for or against Juliana. I never met her and I do not intend to meet her either. I've browsed through her thead, witnessed the past shilling events, viewed the various credible reviews made of her, and decided I'm not interested in what she has to offer. I'm not offended by seing her thread alive. I didn't participate in it, and I probably won't in the future, but may be I will if something sparks my interest. Any board member should make their own decision as far as their own posting is concerned. Juliana included. When it's purely advertising, I think the mods can take care of any misposting, issue warning when necessary and redirect these to the marketing area.

I think Kaspar is also trying to say that Jules never learns. She is up to her same antics every post. Even I listen more to the moderators. I am surprised with the patience of Mod2, with her brazen lack of respect, shrouded by this claim of naive ignorance.
I could care less if she hurts men's backs or not, or whether she is hot or not. She sounds like an idiot savant, and it's getting old. I know for a fact that she solicits other SP's on this board to ask them to get together and discuss the industry, and most of them want nothing to do with a flake.

What is wrong with this? She has in fact contacted me on several occasions, always with professional questions, most recently about STIs.

SPs need to talk to each other to share important information. Also being an SP means that often you have issues to discuss, that you cannot comfortably talk about with people not in the sex industry.

I agree that sometimes Julianna is over the top, so to speak, but if she, or anyone else bothers you so much, just put her on your ignore list.
