the man im dating introduced me to his mom during my sis's wedding! he brought the mom and the mom likes me & said she hopes we will tie the knot =O . I dont know what they both talked about to each other or what he had said to the mom that she would say that.

but I've not met his friends yet... why was he more keen to intro his mom to meet instead of his guy friends??
does he not want his friends to see me? =\

1. Does he have any friends? If not - why not?
2. Is he an insecure only child, a momma's boy? (no offense meant)
3. Was the wedding the first date? If yes, why not a formal date between you?
4. What was his reaction to the mother's comment? How old is he and you?
5. His mother's comment is normal for alot of mom's, maybe she just said it to see how close you and him really are? Mom's are smart and have their own way of finding out things without asking!!!
It's a motherly thing and privlage and they exercise the right when it comes to their children. lol

I suggest you ask and talk to him about it and follow your gutt instinct from there.

Good on you for getting the mum's approval. Maybe his friends aren't the kind of people you would introduce your girlfriend to, maybe he's embarrassed of them and afraid that you will run if you meet them.
