Louisville police are investigating an armed robbery at a massage business on Tuesday evening during which police say a knife-wielding man threatened an employee before making off with a purse.
Sgt. Julian Clark said police received the call at about 6:25 p.m. at Elements Massage, 765 E. South Boulder Road. No injuries were reported, but a white man with what employees described as a "long nose" and green or hazel eyes entered the store armed with a pocket knife, threatened a front desk clerk, demanded money and left eastbound on foot with an employee's purse.
Clark said police don't know if the suspect, who has a shaved head and was wearing a bandana over his face, had a vehicle or bicycle waiting somewhere near the business.
He said police are looking into whether the suspect is the same person who robbed a Corner Store, 1135 E. South Boulder Road, on July 20. In that case, the suspect entered the store armed with a knife, demanded money and left on foot.
