So yes parents in the US often keep their kids away from sex education and won't sign the forms allowing the school to teach it to their kids.

I have kids now getting over their teen years and moving into young adulthood, and they are all sexually active and so are there friends. I find condoms in their car, and my daughter has been on birth control. Can you believe her dermatologist recommenced a low dose birth control pill to control her acne?

But my older son when he was 18 came to me and told me his girlfriend had Chlamydia, and told him so he could get himself checked! His tests turned out negative, but his heart was broken because his girlfriend admitted to banging her boss at work. Of course I hit him up on the side of the head and told him to always have protection, and then sent him to the doctor to get tested. And a lot of my kids friends already have children. So I'm pretty sure we are getting a mix bag here on what young people do here sexually.
