Some the Q & A here gives me deja vu. I'll never forget dating 3 different ones and then meeting them unknowingly at an Xmas party. Interesting thread. I'd say most of the women in the HJ spas for sure are married or have been married and usually have children. I don't really frequent the FS places anymore but I'm sure there are a fair number here too. Back in the 1980s, the FS gals were virtually all Gi-brides or ex-GI brides.

Most of the women at these places have little in the way of financial options other than working in these joints. Whether their husbands know, it varies. My experience is that some know and some don't.

Recent true story from last month. I have a K-friend at one of the midtown HJ joints. When stopping by to say hi, I met one of her co-workers who was pretty cute. My friend was in a session. So, I left word with her co-worker that I stopped by. When I next spoke with my friend, I asked her about her co-worker. She asked me if I liked her, I said of course. Fast forward a week later on a Saturday. My friend calls me and asks me what I was doing. I had just sat at my desk for a session of weekend work. She suggests that I bring over (to her spa) some McDonald's and have lunch with her and her co-worker. I end up banging her friend because she was horny and her BF was "old." (This is funny because the guy is reputedly only 5 years older than me).

In any case her BF appears to be a sugar daddy, (pays her mortgage, etc.) whom she has feelings for because a couple of weeks later, she tells me that the events of the other day were "an accident" and that she respected her BF and hence was not going to stray further. I'm not sure as to why she's still working in a HJ place because she's getting support but that's the overall point. You will find all sorts of arrangements going on with these chicks. The fact that many (if not most) are married is perhaps the least surprisingly thing about them.
