For all of you who are still confused about the places on South Granville (Beauty Regent and Hot Springs) I will add one more to your list, but this one appears to be a bit more challenging.

Found the ad in The Courier, the biggest ad by far in the massage/body and soul classifieds section. The Courier is not mentioned much here but has been a gem of a resourse for me as I learned my way around Vancouver. I found Nellie 4 years ago, long before her name ever appeared here, and Connie last February, months before she was ever mentioned here.

Big Feet is located near 63 and Granville, same side as BR and HS. Price was $30 for an hour, and the place is a bit small. Lots of wall decorations in lobby displaying massage instruments from the past. Unlike the other 2 places, no nail work done here, only massage. About 5 small rooms, and Julie was the name I was given when I made the appointment (a necessity). 1 hour of straight massage from a tiny, young Chinese girl with a little English. No hint of anything else, but maybe others will try and see if they get different results.

$10 tip, so for $40 i felt it was a bargain and a nice change of pace. Place seems to be pretty busy, so one never knows.

Just went to Big Feet today.Told me I was to see Joy,as Julie
was busy. Instead they gave me a chunky 30 yr.old.
Anyway,atmosphere was lousy and too noisy with renos
going on in the hallway.Made an excuse and got out of there.
I did find out that one of the rules is undershorts on!
Perhaps in time this will change.I would steer clear for now.

Nobody ever said it was going to be easy...I only wrote about this place in case anybody was looking for an alternative in the area. Only time will tell if it improves enough for most of you here, but for me it was a good diversion and a very good massage. Cannot beat the price.

Massage quality could be either firm or weak, your choice.

You are right SFMIKE.The attitude at Feet was very good,
and I am sure the massage is too.I will go back for a second
look when the renos are over.30 bucks is the best for sure!

Attitude was horrible.
They kept speaking Cantonese/Mandarin and I'm Caucasian. 10 minutes into the massage, her cell phone rings and she answers it and proceeds to talk for 5 minutes.

What would you expect them to be speaking to each other? This has never bothered me, in fact, I respect that they are able to survive in a culture foreign to them, lacking language skills. Do you think you might be able to make it in China with no knowledge of the local language? Remember, we are the ones who are going there to see them. English is not a very easy language to learn, and many of these young ladies are new arrivals to North America.

Sorry, I must get off this high horse. Sometimes I tend to be a little too liberal. But, I have never failed to enjoy a session, even when there was no verbal communication whatsoever. I just try to make the best of whatever the situation is.

Sorry Kid but I have to disagree with you. SFMIKE is a great source of pooning information and for an American is very respectful of Canada. I just reread most of his posts and wasn't able to find any borderline confrontational posts. In fact I find his posts to be the opposite. Are you thinking about someone else?

Thank you, so much. Canadians like yourself are the main reason I find your country a delight to visit. People are so much more polite and considerate. Try spending a week in San Francisco as a tourist and you will see what I mean. Also, I was not aware that my posts had been so helpful. Now that I'm retired, this is just the kind of place I'm looking for. My experience was similar to SFMIKE's (That's two I owe you now Mike.) except double the time, double the fee, double the tip. Two hours seemed to go by in about 5 minutes though in realiaty it was about 2:10. I'd be really surprised if someone managed to achieve the R&T or more here. Doors have no locks and you are requested to keep your underwear on. As I am looking for massage only at this point, works great for me. Went a little OT as well with no extra charge.

Yes, O"Farrell rocks, but you will really pay the price, and still leave feeling cheated, no matter the results you get. For anyone planning a stop in the SF area, a good pkace to look first is

Agree with SF Mike, the language never bothers me, but the cell phones are a diferrent matter. I settled onto the table, sans boxers, and a guy came in. It was a great massage but I think I'll continue with the ladies at Regent.
